Spring Break Top 10

It's Spring Break (for me at least) and here is The Top 10 List for NHL players (if they actually had Spring Break)

1. Bring the Cup to the Beach

After last year's Cup finals I can't even think about Philadelphia without getting pissed off. I just hate that team. And now they are trying to pull an Atlanta on us and become the Hawks.

So first they get Steeger from the Leafs and that took me a long time to get over, well actually I'm still not over it.  Here is a little video of Kris being a smart ass at practice which I appreciate.  It makes me feel a little better about the situation.  I hope he is giving Pronger hell.

Then Chicago put Nick Boynton on waivers and of course the Flyers pick him up. I mean I was never crazy about him, he kind of creeped me out but he was a tough guy and I just never like to see anybody I had previously cheered for putting on that damn orange jersey.    Who will be next?!

Weird quandary.  Sharpie used to be one of them.  He was there for like 4 years but wasn't anything like he is now.  Just think, you would have to hate him but that isn't a face you can hate, you just can't!

And then there are these pictures of Sharpie with Carts and my heart kind of breaks. Jeff is just this classless goblin and Patrick just isn't.  I bet Richards was getting all jealous of Sharp and Carter so he had him sent away.

Jonathan Toews is the #1 star for February!

Tazer doesn't like losing and he will  kick his team's ass if that is what it takes. He kills it in the face off circle and does work all over the place.  I wish he could just work on Kaner a little bit more. (I understand you are old enough to drink, babe, but let's be smart in season please and thank you.)  Johnny is just the overall package and I'm glad he is getting this appreciation from the NHL.

Although I will mention that Patrick Sharp is killing it too. Um hello?  #2 in goals for the NHL right now? And you are beautiful?  It's really not fair to everyone else.

On a different note, Niemi is the #2 star which is a little bittersweet for me.  I'm glad he is doing so well but I'm sad he was one of the many who left. He was just too cute and awkward and quiet.  For me he will forever be associated with the image of Patrick Kane leaping into his arms after scoring the OT winner in game 6. sigh.
