She gets what she wants
I'm pretty sure Letang is reading this blog because it looks like he cut his hair. It would appear that he got his ends trimmed. It's looking good but not exactly what I wanted but then again I didn't specify. I'll take what I can get.
Speaking of taking what I can get, Talbot playing with baby animals? Everyone meet Max, the baby tiger. Along with penguins, Flower, Staalsy, etc. Totally awesome.

The Blackhawks got their day with Obama for winning the Cup. He was totally repping Chicago, although he was hating on the Cubs and John McDonough. Toews and Kane decided to bring attention to themselves by standing out in their matching gray suits, how cute. And Kaner was totally advertising the flip video again. Then Toews got all jealous that Sharp and Green got chosen for Let's Move and decided to text while Mrs. President gave her speech. Really young man? You got to hand the president a little replica of the Cup! Is that not enough for you? You need his wife's total attention also? Just because you have been on the cover of a magazine doesn't mean the world revolves around you!

Things I'm thankful for
Just watch this. Really, watch it.
I want to say thank you for...
1. Postgame interviews.
2. Postgame interviews that aren't inside the player's locker.
3. Postgame interviews that aren't inside the player's locker with other players walking all over the place in view of the camera.
4. Postgame interviews that aren't inside the player's locker with other players walking all over the place in view of the camera, shirtless.
5. Postgame interviews that aren't inside the player's locker with other players walking all over the place in view of the camera, shirtless in booty shorts.
6. Postgame interviews that aren't inside the player's locker with other players walking all over the place in view of the camera, shirtless in booty shorts and knee socks.
I want to apologize to Corey Crawford for all of the above stated reasons because they distracted me from your face and everything you said.
I am also thankful for how great the Hawks have been playing recently. Everything is clicking and we are finally injury free (knock on wood). Tazer has lead us into 4th in the West with 25 points in 16 games. The captain is seriously doing work. (I'm so clever, I know.)
Oh and Kopecky? Bless you.

Jonathan Toews is the #1 star for February!
Tazer doesn't like losing and he will kick his team's ass if that is what it takes. He kills it in the face off circle and does work all over the place. I wish he could just work on Kaner a little bit more. (I understand you are old enough to drink, babe, but let's be smart in season please and thank you.) Johnny is just the overall package and I'm glad he is getting this appreciation from the NHL.
Although I will mention that Patrick Sharp is killing it too. Um hello? #2 in goals for the NHL right now? And you are beautiful? It's really not fair to everyone else.
On a different note, Niemi is the #2 star which is a little bittersweet for me. I'm glad he is doing so well but I'm sad he was one of the many who left. He was just too cute and awkward and quiet. For me he will forever be associated with the image of Patrick Kane leaping into his arms after scoring the OT winner in game 6. sigh.
This song came on shuffle and being the nerd I am I thought Toews is #19 and he is the #1 star. #19 + #01 = 1901. So thank you Phoenix for reminding me to write this post.
